The Education Committee is a standing committee with a goal of educating the public about KGCB and the work the organization does in the community. The main purpose of the committee is to assist Greenwood County Schools with activities and resources that enhance students’ knowledge of litter prevention, recycling, and beautification efforts.

The finance committee provides financial oversight to KGCB Board Members and the Executive Director. This committee is primarily responsible for developing an annual budget, monitoring adherence to the budget, recording revenue and expenses and presenting all financial goals and proposals to the board of directors for approval.
Receiving grant funds is essential to the work and mission of KGCB. The grants and sustainability committee is responsible for seeking out grant opportunities, community these opportunities to the board of directors, writing the grant applications and ensuring adherence to the guidelines for all grants the organization receives.
The Marketing Committee is responsible for communicating the goals, mission, accomplishments, and KGCB events to the public. This includes finding sponsors and assisting in fundraising activities.
The Lake Greenwood Clean Up Event Committee is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of the Annual Lake Greenwood Cleanup.
The Shred & E-Waste Event Committee is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of the semi-annual Shred & E-Waste Day held in the St. Mark United Methodist Church parking lot.
